In every case i knew look inside was coming. Man to Man. Strong/proficient ID at SG/SF. Prodigidous or better down low backed up by wondorouses. Is there any strategy to slow down look inside besides having terrific inside D and rebounding?
really need a tactic that can slow down look inside when you know a week ahead of time that its coming.
I mean,
(7111993)
gets my sg with strong inside d in foul trouble? 4 fouls in 10 mins at sf? What tactic is there to combat this?
If my 155k sg stays on the court 30 mins, i win this game by 10\15 points. but a pf with respectable game shape at sf out plays my strong id with proficent game shape?
Tough losses to swallow man.

How about trying a 2-3 zone if you know that look inside is coming?
I've tried it just once and won.
Don't know if it works for your team but it may be worth a try..
We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.

i moved it in the help forum, i am also for 2-3 they are a lot of people who say it didn't work but at least for my team i could say it work. I don't know what i make right in roster construction to reach it, so maybe you give it a shot and look if it works for you.

If look inside teams werent still getting up 10+ 3pointers a game, going 2/3 would make sense. but when you are stuck in 2/3 and they opposition is shooting 3's to catch up, thats pretty tough to watch.

those shot are usually still pretty hard and rare that they hit, and with decent ft shooting you have a big advantage then, besides beiing down at that moment. In my last four 2-3 games, my opponent shots 1, 1, 2 and 5 three pointers. ok in the last case it was 3 of them last minute, but in my experience this was more luck then usual.

well, in my opinion your m2m did a good job in all of these games looking at opponens fg%. still you could try 2-3. vs kendallrock u gave him to much freethrows but his fg% was still low.
ever thought about not playing ptb? in my opponion u lost all of these 3 games on the offensive end
regards

i agree that m2m did a very good job and i dont think that 2-3 will work.the problem is at your offence clearly and no at the defence.the def allows around 80-85 points.thats a very good number, but u must score also.

Use the 2-3 zone. Sometimes...it works.

.....
Otherwise LI and even LP can be unstoppable.
Check the Suggestions they are important

Yes it is, that why in a lot of cases 2-3 is not the best defense and M2M is.
