I would like an option for teams to opt out of their country and instead join a region league.

Asia/Oceana
Africa/Middle East
Americas
Europe

Teams would be divided according to average BB stats of last three seasons in a top-down heirarchy. Once joined, teams would play in the regional league for 4 seasons, after which they could opt to return to their home country in the lowest league with an opening, or remain in the regional league.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Why would someone opt out of his country to join a continental league? I dont see the lack of communication with other managers as a reason, but if it would be like that such continental leagues would be poison for the small countries and desert them even further.

Off the top of my head:
To A) get into a more competitive league, allow different teams a chance at a prize C) shake things up.

Well I think I can speak fairly confidently when I say that India would not like to be on the same team as Pakistan and Pakistan would not like to be on the same team as India.

I could imagine it would be cool to fill up the south american leagues with lower division spaniards, but to dismantle smaller countries... I dont know...

It would be the manager's choice to join the regional league or not. And while you might think that Indians and Pakistanis wouldn't want to be in the same league (I wasnt suggesting they be on the same team???), maybe they would love to have the chance to take one another on in a competitive game.

Why would someone want to join a league where he would be put in a lower division if he could be the top dawg of his country?

what nationality would the draftees have?

dozens of new problems and unsolved questions...
