Since no one else has done it yet...

I think [team name] EDH WOLVES will win it all because of their great [reason why] CHEATING.
I'm picking [team name] CONTORTIONISTS to come out of the [conference name] GREAT 8 conference & present a challenge, but they will come up short in the finals.

I may edit this for spelling after the finals conclude, but rest assured I stand by my picks. Why after the finals? Because that's when my dictionary arrives. So please do not quote my post until after then! Thank you.

What do you know, my dictionary just came. Spelling corrected!

Man... nobody wants to step up and make some predictions. I may as well take a shot at it. With relegation predictions because I know that's what everyone will be watching (because I'm there).

EDH 2-0
EDH 2-1
Visionaries 2-1
Lethargy 2-0
Contortionists 2-1
Lethargy 2-1
Lethargy 2-1

Relegation:
Purdue 2-0
TBS 2-0

Hopefully that at least starts some type of discussion. No science behind it, just the way that I think things could shape up. Good luck to all! No disrespect to those I didn't pick (mostly)

Didn't know that it would totally screw up the formatting I put on it (a bunch of spaces). Here is what I meant:

1st Round Winners
EDH
Visionaries
Lethargy
Contortionists

2nd Round Winners
EDH
Lethargy

Finals
Lethargy 2-1

Relegation showed up well enough :)

Well... all of the teams I thought would win the series won the first game of it, I guess that's a good start for my predictions. Admittedly none of them were huge stretch, with Visionaries being the only away team I thought would pull one off.

2-1? That's sorta confusing. It's one game for quarters and semis.

Yeah, the first 2 rounds are just 1 game. Although it's actually better with the picks that way. (Shows the degree of confidence. )

Relegation -- Also thought it would be a sweep for the Great 8. Your new center should at least neutralize the Gingersnap's monster C, & you have way too deep of a team (11 solid players) for them now. Wonder if you're going to be able to keep that huge payroll next season? If so, look out rest of conference.. Anyway, a little surprised The Blue Stars game was as close as it was. but no worries with a closeout game at home.

Playoff Discussion -- Well, the Visionaries are a very dangerous team. They'd be at least the 2nd best team in the Great 8. The Big 8 may be a weak conference as a whole, but they have 2 of the 3 best teams in the league. I'd reconsider picking me. The Loveable Losers forced me to use too much effort this last game. (Supposedly they were jealous that I may have been nominated for a People's Choice award by Chicago Cub third baseman Aramis Ramirez)

EDIT -- ah you changed it right after I hit reply Well it was 2-1 on all remaining games, so seems you think there's no run-away winner. The only 2-0 winners you had were EDH & my team, both in round 1.

I think we should only use players age 35 or older in this next game and rest our regular starters/backups for the finals.

Prediction:

I will injure fewer players in round two than I did in round one. It was a warzone out there and I think I'll be tried for atrocities.

Well, I feel a little cheated. That's a pretty rough result, 28-92 shooting with 90-100-100-90-90 pp100s. And 25 fouls with not even an injury to show for it! It was painful to watch.

I want Jelme to win the finals so I'm not wishing you luck ;)
