BuzzerBeater definitely needs a more realistic roster limit rule. The NBA limit is currently 15. The NCAA does not directly limit roster sizes, but it does limit scholarships to 12, with teams allowed 'walk-ons', non-scholarship players who are not good enough to earn a scholarship to any similar school, but want to say they played on the team.

A roster limit of 15-18 would be a major improvement to the game as it would severely limit opportunities for day trading by means a simple, logical and realistic change to the rules.

You assume the BBs want to do that.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke

Don't most of the NBA have D-league teams though? I know Jordan Farmer and Colby Karl have played for the Laker's D-league team.

All NBA teams have a D-League affiliate. The problem though is that most teams in the D-League act as a minor league team for multiple NBA teams (i.e. the Hawks, Clippers, and Magic draw from Anaheim Arsenal). And even then, those teams have roster limits. The Lakers are the only organization to actually own their own development team.

More importantly even with the d-league they still have 15 players. Meaning that if they send someone down then they only have 14 players. and you can only send players who are in their 1st or 2nd year or have league permission. So no matter how you look at it they don't have more than 15 players. Even in Italy they can only have up to 20 players play in a game for them the entire season or they forfeit the game.

You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em, Know when to walk away and know when to run. You never count your money when youre sittin at the table. Therell be time enough for countin when the dealins done.

yes some cap for transfers per season could be made for teams depend in which div that team is playing... for example max 9 000 000 money (total spending for buying players) for transfers to div 1 teams and max 2 000 000 for div 5 teams... that would be nice... also cap should be increased season by season cause there will be more and more better and more expensive players...

so I said it should be increased season by season... also for this we should be able (like in HT) to see transfer compare...
