its great, you can compare two players and overlap their charts. But only for your team.
Overall though I agree with the suggestion of having the ability to customize the view of player roster. The best thing would be your number 1 suggestion.
I actually do this, for my own team, I just go to set my lineup on a dud game, and view my players like that. Or use Buzzer-manager, because they have this feature already.
