I really like the fact that cross-training is implemented now to this season 17. It is nice to see that pops can occur in skills which are not (or never) selected for training, so that we see that at least something can happen and they do not go their whole career at status quo as pros season in season out..!

Now, I would like to extend this possibility of pops to every player in the whole squad. Not take anything away from the "real training" of specific guys, but so that everyone in the squad would get a small amount of training and possibilities of a pop every season.

Poll:  Do you agree with me, would you like cross-training for the whole squad?

Yes
No

It would be nice beacuse it is really hilarious when a player plays for a 4 seasons while being 23-27 and never gets better ANYWHERE.

Decent idea. The only problem would be managing different team sizes. Is that new training a stagnant value per team or per player? Will it be divided equally among all players if per team. I would not like a system where more or less players would give an advantage. This would actually fasten training speed, as this would add slight amount of training to every player (even the ones you are playing in training spots).
This suggestion needs some basic ground rules and some specifications. But it's a good starting point.

Yes a very very small amount of course, but that there is something happening at least.

Yer i do like this suggestion, but id like to modify it somewhat.

Thinking realistically, in the NBA, some bench players are always pretty much the same skill wise for many seasons, but they play better, mainly due to experience.

And Experience is one stat that seems to be low, that is, seems to take AGES to pop. and ive only personally seen max Proficient experience.

So maybe they should just modify the Experience stat so that, you dont have to play as many minutes to pop. Or even just take into account the fact that your player is dressed for a game, or on a roster, and this add's experience. Ive got a guy on my roster who has been playing for 5 seasons now and he hasnt popped in experience once and i feel this seems to be just a bit wrong. It feels like experience operates on a different 'scale' of stat-range, compared to all other stats. How many times have you seena guy with Legendary experience? Yet in reality, in BuzzerBeater, most 32 year old players who have been playing for 12 seasons, have 'Mediocre' experience. Or thereabouts... seems a bit odd to me.

The Experience stat seems to 'bump up' ALL of the players stats as a general rule, so maybe by making Experience pop faster, or in different ways, you would achieve a similar result to what you are suggesting?

This would be like Hattrick (the soccer manager), I hate that system. I hate cross-training too, actually.

Well I have a player with prolific experience but he is fairly old (35) and has played a lot even over the last three seasons as his skills declined (2293268).

There you go.

Wouldnt it be nice if he was like, 27? With that level of experience?
