Is there a chance that the training speed has increased due to cross training? My 19 yo PG Anton Karachkov had 5 pops so far and 18 yo had 4 cuz i didnt train him fully one week. I think this is a significant increase compared to last season. My two trainees dont have good inside skills however is very balanced outsiders. Skill set for Anton

Jump Shot: Strong (+1) Jump Range: Respectable
Outside Def: Prominent (+1) Handling Proficient (+1)
Driving Proficient (+1) Passing: Prominent (+1)
Inside shot: Pitiful Inside Def: Average
Rebounding: Inept Shot blocking: Awful

Skill set for 18 yo

Jump Shot: Strong (+1) Jump Range: Average
Outside Def: Mediocre Handling: Strong (+1)
Driving: Awful (+1) Passing: Strong (+1)
Inside Shot: Atrocious Inside Def: Pitiful
Rebounding: Inept Shot Blocking: Respectable

Last season I had 10 pops with 19 yo Anton, this season already five? I trained, one on one, passing and pressure. Is it just me or the training system really got faster??? I use a Superior Coache btw

huh? wat do you mean by sub level and .950? If you mean that trainin is faster for players with stronger secondaries, then how wuld one explain this situation where my trainees have sucky secondary.

I don't think it increased. There are probably two reasons:

- sublevels
- crosstraining

Crosstraining probably put those 10% in skills that you were training in those five weeks. Let's say you trained OD and 10% of Cross training went to JS. Next week you train JS which normally wouldn't pop, but it did because of those 10% push from last week.

That's cross training? I thot it was always there since people always get second pops. Or is the chance of a second pop increased? and wat is a sublevel?

The skill levels are not discrete. A respectable skill isn't a skill level of 7 proper, but could be anything between 7.000 and 7.999. Training increases the skill even if there is no noticeable pop. That's called a subskill. In your case, many subskills were very high and popped after little (secondary aka cross) training. Still, now these subskills are low, and you shouldn't expect new pops in these skills all too soon unless you train them directly.
