Right now, all of my players have stamina from 2 to 4. If I trained all of my players stamina to strong, will I see a huge difference? (10+ extra PD per game) or will it just be like 4 points.

Also, if I had that kind of stamina I would run FCP (i have very good OD) does running FCP hurt GS, because then the players would have to run more?????.... or not?

Stamina between 2 and 4 is a little worrying, so you can put in 2 or 3 weeks of training. Low stamina is a killer if a player is forced to play a lot of minutes. If he has a decent backup then he won't need to play so many minutes. You can train stamina for a lot of weeks, but usually it's believed that there are more important skills to train.

FCP requires high stamina, but I think it doesn't prove to be a successful strategy. Unless your opponent has very poor passers he will just score very easily. Your players are stretched all over the place and your defensive ratings plummet.

FCP (or any other tactic) has no influence on GS, only the amount of minutes played per week counts

Thanks. I am just training stamina, because I have almolst capped my u21 trainee, and my other trainees and I havnt ever trained stamina. also, im not immideatly going to start training players immidietly because I am saving money so that I can buy one more monster and promote to DIV III.

as for FCP, my PG has 16 OD, my SG 13 and my sf has 13. also my main backup combogaurd has 9. My PG (jarvis carlson) averages 4 steals per game anyway. do you think running FCP (with all of my players at respectable strong stamina) will be successful against IV teams? the average handeling for pg in my league is 11 (yes there are exceptions) and 10 or 11 for passing.

Will I get killed, or will I force lots of turnovers.

I'm not saying you will get killed every time. You will force a lot of turnovers but you also give your opponent a chance to score a lot of easy baskets using only 4 or 5 seconds of the shotclock, whereas you could have a really lockdown defense by playing M2M or something else.

I've played several games against FCP and I blew them all out. I think in all cases I was the better team to begin with, but the FCP only made it so much easier.

With FCP, you have to have a very good defense and very good rebounding - generally better than your opponent. If you have that, then why would you play FCP anyway? Generally FCP is played against weaker opponents to gain as much point difference as possible, because point difference sometimes counts when determining HCA for playoffs, for example.

When playing against FCP, it always seemed as my players got better in offensive skills. Maybe because I have good HA and decent PA, I don't know.

As an example, look at this match: (35912518) We had same enthusiasm. His team is offensively much better than mine, but I have better defense. He has also better rebounders. But all of that was negated because he played FCP. If he played M2M defense, I would not win that easily.
