I'd like to suggest a feature that's probably most appropriate as a Supporter option, which is the option to be notified when former players are listed on the TL. The reason for this is that some managers tend to get somewhat attached to their players, particularly ones that they spent time training, and they may either want to one day reacquire a player (perhaps to allow them to retire on their team), or at least see what their present market value happens to be (for sentimental or research purposes).

This could either be as an automated message, a News item, or perhaps some other way. I think this would need to be an opt-in feature, sort of like the Supporter scoreboard at the top of the page, since not everyone would want to opt in. I do not think it would be so easy to make this an option on a player-by-player basis, but would need to be all former players or nothing.

This obviously wouldn't be a high-priority development issue for the game, but perhaps it's not too complicated to create...

But you have to check the bookmarks periodically to see if there's a TL listing. I'm talking about getting a notification of some sort, which we wouldn't miss if it came up.
Personally, I use the bookmarks most when I'm scouting for a player to buy and I'm tracking targets already on the TL. Otherwise, I'm rarely just perusing my bookmarks. But if I got a message that Ramon McGreggor was just listed on the TL, I'd be interested. Maybe in News would be better than BB-mail since it would get the message across without filling up the Inbox.

i have quite a few old players bookmarked too

but the thing u gotta realise is that 4 seasons later that "star" player you had is now a worthless scrub good for garbage time against a bot in the cup

with the free agency explosions of recent seasons every team has amazing players and the most scrubby bottom division teams can afford players that will beat d2 teams in a competitive league if they are willing to wreck their long term success - which a lot are

It's a really nice suggestion - but I agree that it shouldn't be a hig-priority issue. But if they've got time to implement that thing, I'd really appreciate it :-)
