I am currently training my bigs so I can run an LI or LP offense. My question is should I choose LP, due to the bad stamina my team has, or should I use LI?

well, the question isn't only about stamina, although that is one aspect of the question. Your offensive flow is pretty important too, as are fouling issues.

generally speaking, good stamina and driving favor LI, as does low fouling. Conversely, relatively bad stamina, good passing and high fouling would mean LP is the better option.

And then there's the question of the opponent. If your opponent has the better defense than your offense, fast-paced attacks are more useful. If you expect your opponent to be better offensively, though, you'll want to run a slow offense so you get a better shooting percentage.

...on the other hand, playing LI even with low stamina enables subs to step in earlier in the game, thus registering significant minutes needed for training.. or even a more balanced minute distribution which is essential for teams who wants training minutes spared evenly.

It all depends on the other team too, which is the risky part... because if you're playing against a good team, starters tend to get almost all the minutes just to catch up with the score. Coaches always play the game to win, and make sub patterns in order to win, not to give training minutes to players, though.

Generally if your bigs have high 'inside shot' but not too high JS JR low post is a good choice, LI works best when your forwards have a good JS JR rating in addition to solid IS.

Wow, that's an enlightenment for me. I kind of know what low post was, but i always thought that LI was for your bigs that have higher IS. Its hard to tell the difference between LP and LI, except for the fact, i guess about the pace of each tactic.

I always thought that LP was a bit further away from the basket, because LI, your passer looks for the player with the highest IS close to the basket.
