The European Championships are about to start in Lithuania. (http://www.eurobasket2011.com/)

i think the favourite is quite clear -> spain.

But i would put germany, earlier on a list then Italy and Turkey

Unfortunately I had to pick 2 teams out of Italy, Israel, Germany and Turkey. Actually on paper Germany is probably better than Turkey. But it's close.

In europe is hard think something, there is much more hard than here in America.

Israel got a one of the bests teams in Europe, but just that isn't enough for to accomplish their qualification.

Spain is the best team, Ricky Rubio, Marc and Pau Gasol, Calderon ... Turkey is improving since the world champioship, and germany , oh sorry Nowitzki also get chances. Italy I don't know much about their basketball, but looks be good.

Remember, today the American Cup was started, Brazil won and Argentina too!

but germany traditional get a good chemistry, which is a problem in turkey and i believe france too mostly. I don#T think that turkey could repeat their succes without homecourt(i don't think germany would be much more succesful, but turkey was more then desolate in Bamberg).

Srbia on Paper looking at individual talent isn'tlooking that strong too but it is often counted as one of the top 3 teams, and i think that isn't off, especially in Italy who had problem in group B tournament with help of their NBA stars.

italy, France, Turkey are at least team for me, who have strong team on paper who didn't work that good(France is maybe too athletik, to less finesse for FIBA, but turkey and Italy often struggle mentally), and preparation games don't like a change in that direction.
