Passing is useful for both, but LP and LI rely on different positions to pass the ball.
Low Post is slower overall, so there will be slightly more passing overall, especially by the big men if they don't have a good look when they get it in the post.
For look inside, it really helps to have guards who can pass it really well to thread through tough outside Ds and get it to the big men.
