Does the National Appeal specialty affect the team when playing on a neutral arena? And if not, why? Since both teams are playing away from home.

Well, as I say, both teams are playing away, so it wouldn't be so strange that a team which has more national appeal would get slighty more applause. Thank you for your answer, but it sounds sort of like a guess. Can someone verify this?

from the game manual :
National Appeal: When your team is on the road, your opponents will have a slightly decreased Home-Court Advantage.
in neutral arenas there is no HCA, therefore there is no decrease in the HCA, therefore national appeal is useless in neutral arena :)
