This is my rookie from this year and i was planning on selling him but, thought id train him up a bit before doing so. Now im not sure if i even want to sell him at all. What do you guys think? Sell him now? Train him more and then sell? Or keep?

I'd keep him if I were you. Trainees with such high IS, ID and FT are pretty rare. You're not too close to promoting so you don't need the money.
On a side note, how come you're only training one player?

Train him up for a few more seasons..
Id say you could easily get 2 PA increases and 1 Driving Increases within the end of this season. Your OD is high enough for a season of IV. Next season id work alot on JS and OD with a bit of passing.

Don't Know why someone would train OD to 13 when the player has average JR, doesn't make sense to me.

I would train him as PG because of his height so I would train his handling and passing alternating the training week after week. He'd pop in driving too under the influence of handling and passing training. Hopefully he'd pop in outside defense too.
So something like this would come out...
Age: 19
Height: 6'0" / 183 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: average
Jump Shot: 8 Jump Range: 6
Outside Def.: 12 (+1) Handling: 11 (+3)
Driving: 12 (+3) Passing: 10 (+2)
Inside Shot: 7 Inside Def.: 7
Rebounding: 3 Shot Blocking: 2
Stamina: 5 Free Throw: 7
