Inside Shot: inept Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: average ↑ Free Throw: mediocre

Experience: atrocious

and :

Weekly salary: $ 3 574

(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 17700
Age: 18
Height: 6'4" / 193 cm
Potential: MVP

First welcome. Second can I rub your head, beacuse you appear to be a massive luck magnet? Those guys are fantastic! You also started with a $4,000 18 year old pallstar. Incredible. I am the India U21 NT coach and I check up to a dozen teams every week and I have never seen a team with such a great depth of young talent, in fact I haven't seen anything even close in all the hunderds of teams I have looked at. Out of all the players in the entire Nation of India in the last two seasons Elspeth Pantelidis would be in the top three. Then you got two more! Wow.

First thing you need to do is get at least a level 4 fitness trainer or a level 5. Try to get one that has a low weekly salary, you should be able to find one under $20,000 easily. Next with these great guys you will need to do single position training. To begin with train them as PGs. That means each week they need to play at least 48 minutes as a PG (and I wouldn't play them much more than that because you don't want them getting injured). Set your training to pressure for PG. I would stick with that until they have had several pops which may take a long time.

It can take two weeks per pop but with his height and age Elspeth will improve very fast, Horace will be less fast.

One thing you may not like is I would suggest selling off Sandy, you may get some good money for him and you wont be able to train him properly.

I would suggest just slam the pressure training until both are around sensational OD. In weeks where there are only two games you may want to do 1on1 training.

Any more questions feel free to ask me or Iwen the Aussie U21 coach.

Excellent advice Yoda.
But I would like to add one more thing... just a little thing I like to do with trainees.
That means each week they need to play at least 48 minutes as a PG (and I wouldn't play them much more than that because you don't want them getting injured).

I would play them 48 mins in one game @ PG, then have them back up another game in that game week to make them play an extra 10-12 mins or so. This will help immensely with gameshape as well as boosting their experience level a bit faster.

Thanks Yoda, yeah Sandy has been a great player (C) as well and my team in general is already performing very well. I'll focus training on the 2 SG's though. Not sure how much money I'd get for Sandy but I don't really need cash as my balance is increasing by 50-60k a week already. Looking for a cheap lvl4-5 trainer, currently lvl3 but will make it a priority. I have already made a couple of decent younger prospects that are already performing well too. Just going to focus training for this season and next at least and see how the SG's develop. Anyways thanks again and all advice is fantastic and appreciated :D

not going to build for elastic effect on od first?

This has been hotly debated by NT guys with three main schools of thought.

1) Do the first season on 1on1 which created an elastic effect on OD.
2) Do the first season on OD which creates and elastic effect on JR.
3) Train everything in balance so no skill suffers a reverse elastic effect by being too far out in front.

I am of the second school for three main reasons.

First if your player can defend he is less likely to foul and therefore more likely to be able to get 48+ each week without upsetting your teams routine too much.

Second if your player can defend then at least they can do something constructive and by using cross matchups on defence and the corect tactics you can minimise the negative impact on the team.

Third there is a lot of debate about 1on1 and JS training with some managers saying they never train JS because you get enough from 1on1 and JR and other managers saying they never train 1on1 because you get DR and HA as a secondary from most other training types (JS, OD, PA and JR). So I would suggest limiting them to two game weeks or weeks when things go wrong.

my 20 yr old trainee popped very well in od this season because of the elastic effect from high drv hnd.

he consistantly did this

od pop
od pop
no pop
od pop
no pop
od pop
od pop
no pop
od pop

as a 21 yr old ill head to jr next season hopefully elastic effect will be quite rewarding there too

ive done mostly 1on1 this season & my draft pick now has much higher js, ha & dr than od so i will see if he pops 2 times in every 3 weeks of pressure like ur guy did

hell be 19 6'0" with a level 6 trainer and a huge elastic effect so if there is any truth 2 this theory ill see it next season - if i do 12 weeks of pressure i should get 8-9 od pops according 2 this although by then i would be having reverse elastic effect
