So guys the playoffs have finally approached. It' been a great regular season for everyone but now were down to the nitty gritty. 8 teams have qualified and in my eyes 4 have a legimate chance to win the championship with 3 being the main frontrunners.

I'll start things off with my first round predictions.

Great 8

WWIAFTM @ Cincinnati Lakers

WWIAFTM came beneficiaries of the Buffalo Wings going under. They maanged to clinch a playoff spot but now have to face the high powered Lakers. The main storyline of this match-up is if the Lakers will manage to finally stay healthy in the postseason.

Prediction: They stay healthy and cruise to a 50 point win.

Bollingbrook Tigers @ Coal Miners

This should be the best match-up of the first round. The Tigers managed to beat the Miners but it was in their gym. I think the homecourt advantage will be to much for Yu Yufa and company but they'll keep it close.

Prediction: Miners avoid the 4th quarter collapse and win by 10.


Big 8

FlightBrothers @ Tenn Stallions

This division might as wll be known as the Stallions and company conference. The FlightBrothers moved into the 4th spot as the Philadelphia Heat went under. They have an impossible first game.

Prediction: Stephen Yates single handledly outscorces the Brothers and the Stallions play the 2nd half with actual horses.

BallKillers94 @ opelousa brothers

opelousa really lucked into this matchup as they managed to replace kalamazoo. They've looked pretty bad the last 2 games while the BallKillers came up huge with a 36 point win over the Eagles to clinch a playoff berth.

Prediction: The BallKillers gm has wins under his belt and have actually looked decent in the past, so I have to give this one to the BallKilers. I think they win by 5.

Rather predictable playoffs so far in V41 and my league, but now comes the REAL stuff :)

If it plays out like our regular season games it will be a barn burner. Both games went to OT and could have gone either way.

Last night's TIE loss left me with 10enthus, I just hope that will carry me through the next two games. It should, but going back to his house for game two is a little worrying :)
