In light of the overwhelming number of managers choosing LI exclusively in league/cup/B3 deciding games, i decided to post this thread.

Poll:  Would you like to see Look Inside removed as a tactic temporarily for a season?

Yes, I want to see how people adapt.
No, things are fine just as they are.

Somebody let me a hold a no. 2 pencil cause they testin' me.

So what if a lot of managers are using Look Inside?

for managers winning 1st division titles, Cup titles, and the BB3, its a tad bit more that "a lot".

EVERY great t managerses LI. If you don't use LI, especially at the higher levels like D-I or B3, then you have a high chance of losing. The LI attack is just too powerful compared to other offenses and there's no defense suited to stop it.

Check the Suggestions they are important

Maybe de 2-3 tactic should have a little change in order to act more closely as it should be.
This is what would be right, not the removal of the look inside.

I won my first Cup title with Motion in S13 and it was motion again in S14. In S15 I won the League with 2 - 1 final score - my choice of tactics was Princeton (L), then Motion (W), Motion in the TB (W). In S16 I won the League title again with 2 - 0 score and it was Princeton + Princeton.

My favorite B3 win this season was in an away match against remedial kings - with Motion :)
In this B3 season I didn't play a single LI game. It was Princeton 2, Motion 5, LP 3.

(OMG, I think they should remove "Motion" from my choice of tactics!)

So, I would definitely say that LI was not my first choice for my most important matches.

This is the tactic breakdown from my last 5 seasons in BB:

Low Post 8.9 %
Run and Gun 10.9 %
Motion 19.8 %
Look Inside 27.6 %
Princeton 7.3 %
Inside Isolation 5.7 %
Patient 7.3 %
Outside Isolation 5.7 %
Push the Ball 2.1 %
Base Offense 4.7 %

So, LI was not extremely dominant as my tactic choice. It's a mater of styles and everyone is free to chose his own.

Look inside being strong is fine. The lack of anything that you can do when you know your opponent will look inside is the problem. 3-2 deals well with outside offences, 1-3-1 does in an even more extreme way. Nothing does anything at all to slow a LI offence. If the BBs are 100% determined to leave 2-3 zone as useless as it is...

"it isn't broken, you just need the right players, with at least wondrous OD, ID and SB to make it work..."

then can they please introduce some new defence. Call it double-post or something. But make it that it actually incrreaces your inside defensive ratings in the same way 3-2 or 1-3-1 zones increace your outside ratings.

My post is about Look inside in deciding games.

(39008681)

Your loss in the B3 is case and point.

you were the 14 seed playing the 30. You knew he was going look inside. You 2-3 zoned him, and he still shot almost 50%. I admire your versatility, truth be told, i have myself vowed not to use LI except against certain teams (Sharman). But when it comes down to it, people are going to Look inside and with you only having a prolific inside D his wonderous inside scoring, what else coudl you do...to not lose by double digits.

Im just sayin, the last 7 games of the B3 were LI vs LI.

theres no coincidence about that.
