So I had a whole training schedule going on, had picked players I wanted to improve, and then came the draft.

A. Ayers-Spicola (18 yo, 6'5" Hall Of Fame Potental), M. Curry (19 yo, 6'2" Superstar Potential) and E. Gamez (18 yo, 6'3" Star) join the team.

The others I had slated for Training were

R. Hanson (22 yo, 6'0" Superstar), I. Meert (19 yo, 6'10 Star), C. Chestnut (20 yo, 6'10 Allstar), D. Mark (22 yo, 7'0" Allstar) and R. Thayer (19 yo, 6'3" Star).

So, 8 Players and only 6 Training spots on a Two Position. Obviously older is worse as they train slower, but would you rather have an 18 Star getting that training or a 22 Allstar (3 Steps over Star).

The obvious are easy. No way you don't Train Ayers-Spicola, he's 18 and HOF. Curry seems a lock as well, while 19 he's still young enough with Superstar. R. Thayer is 19 with Star. Meert is 19 with Star.

So Ayers-Spicola, Curry, Thayer and Meert seem set. Who are the other 2? I really like Hanson, and Gamez is 18... Mark and Chestnut are both Bigs...

I know I didn't post Skills, and those matter, but purely off of Age/Potential who would you go for? I'll add Height for flavor.

If it was me i would forget the older guys and just 1 position train all your new players as guards. It depends a lot on skills though.

Well you don't seem to have it right.

- Hanson is 22 and has only has a 3k salary. So having superstar or 6th man potential is unlikely to make much of a difference.
- Chestnut and Meert are big men, with lousy salaries, so I don't really see the point. You don't just train any 19 y.o. Eddy Curry that shows up. Very few teams would even train guys with these salaries starting at 18...
- Mark is also 22 with a 3k salary, also not going anywhere I think...
- Gamez and Thayer have poor salaries, so poor skills. You can find all-star potential 18 y.o. players with over 4k salary in the TL for 50k, 100k if they're really good.

So that leaves Spicola, and Curry... You can find a 3rd trainee and do 1position training which is most effective. Then when you train 2position skills (JS, DR) you can tag some of these losers along for extra pops ;)
