If I train 5 players between PG and SG, will those playes get fewer pops than if I train only 3 players at just PG or only 3 at SG?

In short, if I get 3 players 48 minutes at PG will they get better training (more pops) than if get 5 players 48 minutes at PG and SG?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

though the probability of getting a pop with 5 players increases.in simple words it increases total no of skill pops on the macroscopic basis but it decreases the effective training of each player microscopically.but i would never train 5 players coz for that i would have to give them 2 pos training for every skill including JR and OD which take ages to pop if trained in 2 pos training.and this reason is more than enough to select training 3 players over 5 players.
moreover if you seriously want to train some players, then the best way is to give them single pos training...

Seems like it would be difficult to consistently get all 3 players a full 48 min at PG or SG. Getting 5 players 48 min. is a whole lot easier.

Anyway if you're just asking this as a hypothetical question -- in general, assuming all players are the same age/height, you'll get more total pops with 2 position training. While 1 position training is obviously faster, it's not double the speed. That said, I'm not recommending either. & 3 vs. 5 makes the difference less of an issue than 3 vs. 6 players.

Honestly it all depends on your situation / what you're trying to achieve. If you truly had 5-6 players worthy of training, you could build up a deep team cheaply with 2 position training. Guessing that most people will advise you to do 1 position training though. (If your goal is training a "franchise player" as quickly as possible, definitely go with 1 position training)

If you are talking about 18y olds, I think it's like this:

1 pos.: average 13 pops x 3 players = 39 pops

2 pos.: average 10 pops x 5 players = 50 pops

So you would get more pops with 5 players, but none of those 5 players would be as good as any 1-position trained player.

Now 3 pops isn't much, but over 4 seasons that's 12 pops...

3 vs. 6 players is a more fair comparison though.

so... 2 pos.: average 10 pops x 6 players = 60 pops

that's a significant difference. (11 pops per season!) & while they wouldn't be good as quickly, he will have a much better *team*. & if those players will reach their cap anyway... what's the rush? you don't need to train a $100k player in D5 anyway.

True, but I used 5 players example because it's very very tough to consistently getting 48min for all 6 players week in and week out. It's much easier to control this with three players. So while in theory there could be 60 pops, I doubt you could ever make it.
