I'd go with OD and/or passing first, then Js.

Try to sell him. He is not short enough for my taste, he's 19, JS 1, JR 2, STA 3, FT 1... And now that I see you bought him today for 250 k... I must say the other guy got a good deal.

So now let's focus on training him. Start pumping his JS and JR. I would not train him as PG because of 201 cm height. I'd rather convert him to SF.

Recommendation: JS for SGs/SFs until he gets to at least JS 5

You bought that guy for 250k? You got RIPPED OFF... that is not a good trainee at all. Atrocious JS and pitiful JR so it will be extremely difficult to turn him into a decent guard. Pitiful IS makes very hard to turn him into a Big man. top that off with 6'7 height that doesn't train guard skills or big man skills pretty fast and he'll take forever to be a decent player, let alone a good one. I suggest that you find a new trainee and next time pay attention to his skills not his potential...

Check the Suggestions they are important

make him an inside SF and you got all the time in the world to train him. get a lvl 5 trainer and crunch away at his IS.

Train JS and JR this whole season n turn him into a sf.... get an advanced trainer n with it should expect like mediocre JS by the end of the season n like inept JR n awful or inept IS...... then just go JS, OD from there on

For 250k you can get much better trainees with Superstar or MVP potential, but since you already bought it, let's try to do something with it, shall we...

I strongly disagree with anyone who is saying you should train his JS and JR for whole season. I see him as a very good inside SF/passing PF prospect with good secondaries. Why?

If you want to make him a balanced SF, you have to invest two seasons in JS and JR.
If you want to make him an inside SF/passing PF, you have to invest one season into IS.

But you should do one-position training with min. coach lvl.4 because if not, you just wasted 250k. And try to promote in two seasons because if not, his salary will give you a headache.
