My NT player is injured for a few weeks. Can I train Free Throws or something while he is injured and still get pops on him ?

You CAN train an injured player only if he has played minutes in that week. Like say, my trainee plays 32 minutes on Thursday and then gets injured. He can be trained on Friday. However if he has not played any minutes in that week I really doubt he can be trained so I think the answer to your question is a no.

Yes, I can imagine players on wheelchairs still hitting the court and shoot free throws and race their team mates on those wheels...
