I've read something like this before claiming that height does not affect the speed of passing training?

is this correct?

No. height only matters on trainning, not in game. So yes, it affects.
The higher, the slower the trainning for passing and any guard skill and viceversa.-

That sounds right. I was training 206 guy in guard skills - when he was 22-23 I had to give him 3-4 trainings to pop in OD. when he was 24 it took just 2 trainings to pop him in Passing (he popped in first and then in third training). Probably in longer run he would need about 2.5 trainings to pop.

i guess it relates back to real life.

it's easier to have a tall playmaker like Magic, Shaun Livingston than having some tall shooters like Okur, Dirk
