Well I finally have some time to go ahead and get all of these posts done :) Ill paste what Mogul wrote last season:

The draft scouting has been completed, and you know what that means....time to highlight some of the very best names from the season 16 draft! A quick recap of the criteria used:

- 18 years old
- Star+ potential
- Based on current skill level (with projectability / ceiling also given some consideration)
- Canadian!

Let's get right to it! Here are the best looking Canadians that just emerged from the draft.

The BC Toroo U18 Select Teams version IV

1st team
PG: Christopher Creech(22158382); MVP $4669
SG: Pavlo Khrennikov(22159576); P. Allstar $5931
SF: Luis Garvi(22158628); Superstar $7291
PF: Thomas Guevin(22159385); MVP $5931
C: Lucas Bussman(22159396); HoF $6007

2nd team
PG: Samuel Paris(22159242); HoF $4614
SG: Antonio Lizotte(22158734); P. Allstar $4693
SF: Rudolph Burcombe(22158955); Allstar $4724
PF: Samuel Vigneault(22158669); Allstar$5723
C: Daniel Foster(22158543); MVP $4598

3rd team
PG: Michael Thain(22158284); Star $4918
SG: Johnnie Denson(22158570); P. Allstar $4932
SF: Daniel Tinkler(22159229); P. Allstar $7082
PF: Reg Bullard(22160736); P. Allstar $6336
C: John Sammons(22158616); ATG $5215

Keep in mind that the players selected involved some decisions on my part that could easily have gone in different directions, and the teams are just for fun; they won't be playing any actual games or anything. It will be interesting to see how many of these players end up playing for Canada one day. :)

Once i get John's Secondaries Done he will Skyrocket and Dominate games but I might not be able to afford him after he gets to like 300k salary.

If you get him to a 300k salary with decent secondaries, that would be awesome! That will take you awhile, but would be worth it. For a comparison, my C trainee started out with mostly decent secondaries (except atrocious driving and pitiful handling) and I managed 14 pops in his first year and 13 in his second (with two weeks lost to injury). I have a level 6 and my guy is two inches taller than yours, so he probably trained slightly quicker than yours will. The passing will be the tough one to get up - starting from atrocious.

Oh I also see you're playing him every game. That's great for improving his experience, but it also makes him twice as likely to suffer an injury. Just something to consider.

Good luck!

It's going to take you a season or 2 to just get his secondaries to a decent level, then you'll be way behind on his primary skills as his training is slowing down.

But your future worries are misplaced. The only way you get this guy close to a $300K salary is if you ignore his secondaries altogether while training. But that way you're just creating a one dimensional salary monster that most of the top owners have no interest in owning.

EDIT: And why in God's name are you playing him 48 mpg 3 times a week? All you're doing is tripling the chance that you lose weeks of training due to an injury.

I Believe Expierence is a Great stat to have because I'd rather have a Clutch Player who takes good shots vs better play that takes bad shots and Misses clutch shots. that and I am not exactly worried of injuries i play in a bot league :P

Experience isn't going to make a difference while he is still being trained.

He is just as likely to get injured in DIV full of bots as he would be in a league full of actual players.

Agreed. No reason to play him 48min a game...EVERY GAME! only needs 48min a week to get training. You could train 2 guys just as efficiently. If you want to see him put up stats and help your team win, then give him starters minutes and sit him during cup games. 25-32 min a game, 2 games a week will help him increase gameshape which will increase productivity, and less likely to suffer a 2-3 week injury which would set back his training quite a bit.

Maybe if ur team stays in better shape there would be no need of someone making clutch shots since ur playing in div IV...... and besides what are you gonna do about the experience lost when ur players injured for 2-3 weeks? whatever u gain from playing him 144 mins a week will be gone after that n u will basically end up in the same spot but with horrible game shape and missed training.... n it may not be a bad idea to train your pg and C at the same time they can both use the same skills like driving n passing
