i was promoted last season and then have to fight at a level 3 division. i am having a hard time to pick up wins and to make it worse, i am out of the cup already. maybe one reason that i have a hard time getting wins is that i am far weaker than all the other teams.

what could i do to make a good season? should i continue to try to get wins and try not to be relegated, or should i call this already a season and be relegated and try to get the best draft pick out there?

answers are very much appreciated.

Focus on trying to win against equal teams, and play tie and rotate players against top teams. try not to relegate, and at least get to promotion. Save as much money as you can and buy a quality player in a few weeks in order to not relegate.

Put money on the draft. If you relegate, you'll get a great pick. If not but you get 6 or 7th spot, you will sitll be able to get a more than decent pick.

so relegation is not an option? judging from my standing as of now, i could probably get as high as 7 in our conference, ang then i'll be relegated. i am putting 4 points per week on draft though.

i actually wanted to train as many bigs as possible. but i am having a hard time getting them minutes. the MVP 20 yo has actually decent skills, but i can't get enough minutes for the 19 yo so i will try to transfer him and get a decent trainee in the TL or draft. maybe i need some training tips also? i have a lvl 4 trainer. do you usually have pop ups every week? what tips could you give me regarding training?

try to win and go as far as you can is the only way to me. Other managers tank the season, but I'd never do it on purpose. Of course, if you can't do anything about it...

Make an assessment of your league, try research the strength of the teams and see where you might end up at season's end if you don't improve your squad. From there making a decision will get easier. If I were you I'd try TIE every game, then normal games you should win (so you don't get relegated). I'd try to put as much effort I can to train players so the season won't be so meaningless. Knowing where you end up also lets you know if you should invest in the draft.

Your roster clearly isn't as strong as the top teams so there's really no point in trying to win those games until you upgrade your roster significantly. Losses are losses, the amount you lose by doesn't matter.

If you want to stay in the higher division (you make more $$$ from arena, TV and merchandise in a higher division so personally, I think that's a better move than relegating), just concentrate on winning the games against teams with similar talent. And then play take it easy in the games that you're not going to win anyways. This will make you stronger in the normal games and allow you to play crunch to steal a couple more wins.
