Alright I need some advice for these two trainees ive been training for about 1 1/2 season. One of the biggest mistakes I made when I first joined this game was get low potential trainees and now I have hit a problem. 2 out of my 3 trainees probably are going to cap sometime this season, I just want to know what I should pop because I know they each probably have a 3-5 pops left if im lucky.
Here they are.

Weekly salary: $ 19 136
Role: regular starter
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 117800
Age: 20
Height: 6'11" / 211 cm
Potential: star
Game Shape: strong
Jump Shot: average Jump Range: pitiful
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: average
Driving: atrocious Passing: inept
Inside Shot: prominent Inside Def.: prolific
Rebounding: tremendous Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: strong

Weekly salary: $ 25 448
Role: regular starter
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 113000
Age: 21
Height: 7'0" / 213 cm
Potential: star
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: awful Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: average Handling: average
Driving: inept Passing: pitiful
Inside Shot: sensational Inside Def.: sensational
Rebounding: prolific Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: mediocre

I know they dont have the best secondary skills, they were my first trainees and now I know what I really need from my future trainees.

You should look at Josef-Ka's formula to see how close they are to capping, but they should be close

Secondaries give smaller contributions to the "total", so you can still try and train them

For the first one I think you can reach these skills before you experience cap. If you train 1 skill on 1 position for 4 weeks and he didn't pop, he is capped.

Age: 20
Height: 6'11" / 211 cm
Potential: 5

Jump Shot: 6 Jump Range: 2
Outside Def.: 1>>2 Handling: 6
Driving: 1>>5 Passing: 4>>7
Inside Shot: 10>>12 Inside Def.: 11
Rebounding: 13 Shot Blocking: 5>>7

I give these skills based on josef ka's potential formula...
The second player is closer to capping but I'm sure he can reach these skills...

Age: 21
Height: 7'0" / 213 cm
Potential: star

Jump Shot: 3 Jump Range: 1>>2
Outside Def.: 6 Handling: 6
Driving: 4>>5 Passing: 2>>7
Inside Shot: 12 Inside Def.: 12
Rebounding: 11 Shot Blocking: 6>>7

If you manage to train them so they reach these skills, they'll be well rounded and they would definitely reach their full potential. Not to mention they'll be beasts in play and worthy if/when you decide to sell them.

Sorry, I didn't read a part of your post, so I misunderstood what you were asking. I more or less agree with what ibarix told you to aim at. You should try training driving for forwards. It will help boost the atrocious driving one of them has, plus boost other secondaries. It is easier to train because you don't have to plug the guys at PG or SG. Disagreeing with ibarix, I would stay away from the shotblocking. It will take you much closer to the cap, and I would rather use these last pops in other skills
