This poll closes in 1 month at the start of the 2011-12 season. Pick your Atlantic Division winner, and feel free to say why.

I pick Boston. I think they will do everything to have homecourt advantage during the playoffs. The shortened season favours them because they are an old team; rest won't be as much of an issue. I expect Ray Allen to have been practising like crazy during the lockout because he's a true professional. Rondo will dominate all other Atlantic Divison PG's without question.
They're a little bit weak at the center position, but there isn't much competition in the Atlantic either.

My heart goes to Toronto but my head picks Boston. (Just wait for Jonas Valanciunas to arrive in the NBA)

I forgot Deron Williams was playing for the Nets. I still think Rondo is the better competitor.

Valanciunas can't make any big effect for Toronto.

New York, as long as the Chris Paul thing gets settled quickly one way or another.

even when i think Boston would be a good fit for him too, even when they should rebuild soon but with Bostons history and aging stars who had some seasons left this should be a possible task.

For Charlotte it should be still a valuable trade, even when i think that Rondo need a great scorer besides him(personally i think he would be the perfect fit for paul destination of dreams).

Ummm... the shortened season includes lots of back-to-backs, and a few back-to-back-to-backs. It definitely doesn't favour "older teams". The only advantage there is that I think vet teams are more likely to be able to put last night's games behind them. Hey, it's a slight advantage. Slight.
