It makes their decisions at the end of the game better. For example, an 18 year old may just keep chucking up shots, while the more experienced player slows it down and takes an open shot.

all those championship teams always have those cheer leaders on the sideline.
they may not play much and delivery much, but they always have that certain
moments that they do the right stuff to make them worth while.
