i don't think it is a bug, or at least an old one. But on the one hand is it an estimate, and on the other we don't have a scale for injured for 2 weeks and 6 days. And it is pretty rare, that they get healthy again earlier, at least i didn't recognized it at one of mine player.
But remember this is an onofficial reply, i couldn't check it as a gm.
