I want to have a midrange (But not no or very few 3 pointers) game. WHAT is the best tactic on offense for this game?

Motion. Definitely Motion. Motion is one of the best offenses for my team, and it works really well. Not too many shots close to the basket, and not too many three-point attempts. Jump Shot is the key skill here, so make sure you're guards and SF have good JS. JS is the main and, I guess passing? But JS is surely the main. Princeton is actually pretty complicated, I mean, by the description it says Inside/Outside which means definitely NOT mid-range play but in practical usage there ARE quite a bit of jumpers. I mean, if you can experiment, then no harm right? Check out Princeton and Motion, and see which works better for you. But if you can't afford to lose matches just go with Motion. Hope this helped.

Run and gun does the trick too, but you must have good rebounders because, as there'll be more shots, more balls would be available...

Having a great Passing and Shooting PG helps greatly with Motion, and either your C or PF are also invaluable if they have some passing capabilities.

well the best offense for ur team would be motion.but u need good passing skills in all your players for that.moreover the driving of ur guards should also be good.
apart from that,u can also try patient.i use this attack in most of my games and i get decent amount of 3 FGs.apart from this, patient renders the opposition helpless and the opposition has to use M2M against ur team.so u can also see their weak points and in some important games u can set the attack according to the defensive weakness of ur opponent.u wont get this flexibility with motion and u can always expect a 3-2 or 1-3-1 zonal defense against it.

BO for god sake
if u are not neutralize by your opponent in the midrange and force to take 3s at the end of the shot clock
