There should be only one world and everyone in it. So it is either to reset everything (why should we, soon we would again be in this same situation) or keep going.

i'm one of the dinasours in this game and i feel that we have already past the best days of BuzzerBeater..
many players have reached the top end of the skill levels, market died and tanking became a serious long-term strategy, BBs stopped improving the game etc..

i also guess that some serious adjustments can not be made because of not hurting people's long-term strategies..

if there was a new gameworld i would definitely join that, and spend more time there even if i kept my current account open..
it may sound like a selfish suggestion but i feel there are many people sharing the same thoughts with me..

let's talk about the possibility of this option..
what in-game adjustments would be necessary for a new gameworld..?
can a new gameworld create it's own BBs, GMs..?
which Supporter strategy provides game developers the extra cash to run a second server..?
how some other MMORPGS are able to run extra gameworlds..?
And by what had a dinasour of this game wrote, he proved (once again) what I've said long time ago...
The game is not competative for new users! Old users just stay at their top place, and cannot be moved.

I agree with you about changing the game, but not about creating a new world.
The real baskeball game is changing (drastically) from time to time, and there is no reason why this game would not do the same.
Just now we got a new NBA-NBPA deal that changes the managing of a NBA team.
Changing the game along the way will be a bless to this game.

Real basketball players and managers would not stop to work in NBA because of the changes, it's how they earn money. BB is a game, change a large part of it and you could (i did not say for sure) lost half of the players.
Currently I know that from time to time I see users who are disatisfied with this game and pointing to the same things.
They feel that it is not competative for those who their time is not flexible.
There are those who point to the fact that it is not competative enough for new users.
There are those who are feeling that after a short while, as an old-user, this game is just doing the same (and even less - as training your drafted players is not exectued at higher leagues, etc.).

Those who stays at a game will be those who will find the game exiting even after few seasons.
New user will stay in this game after seeing that it is all in their own hands.

Those who will leave the game will be only those who find it interesting being part of a game that there is almost nothing to do and just celebrating a success due to their early coming into the game, and it will not be that big lost. Especially due to the above parts of newcomers.

BTW - managers at the NBA are there for the money, but the spectators ARE NOT. And they are still watching the game.

50K users is very few for this type of game which has many flavors and basically has very good design and concept.
The reason users losses interes too fast due to the reasons brought above.

Changes has to be very wisely discussed and not made for the sake of it. Hattrick is older than BB and do not have another gameworld and it's hardest to get to the top than BB, but they are still there too.

Well on the past the BB's were doing continuous changes from one side to the opposite side and now we don't have any important changes that this game needs like balancing the offensive strategys.

splitting the community in two world won't be a good idea in my mind.

what about an alternative way of doing this by introducing the ability for clubs to start a female team (basketball is not just a mans sport! just as im sure not all managers in BB are men!)

a variation on this would be for youngsters, but then i guess the expectation would be for this to tie into the current drafting process in some way...
