Another though provolking thread from an "Anti-look inside" guy.

Seems the benefit of Driving far outweighs its cost.

also seems that jump range is way over priced for its benefit.

In my opinion, driving helps with inside shots and it helps with getting to the ft line. The benefits of having a guard with prolific driving far outweigh the benefit of a guard with prolific jump range.

I dont know the formula, but it seems that passing + driving + is = success rate for driving shots.

maybe im wrong.

Poll:  Which skill is more worth it's price and training time?

Driving?
Jump Range?

Somebody let me a hold a no. 2 pencil cause they testin' me.

I've felt that jump range is overrated and driving underrated for awhile now. I think that a player needs decent range to hit 3's but once they get to a certain level, it's their other skills that help get them the open looks they need to knock down 3's.

It's easy question, correct answer is Jump Range. Driving is only secondary skill.

i think you ask to different things, when i buy players i mostly ignore driving but when i train driving is a pretty good training cause it trains a lot of secondarys raise the elastic effect and comes more or less for free ;)

my way of restating your point is to say that i think each and every skill listed for a player has its (potential) role -- each can be (equally) exploited -- JR is dissed because coaches choose not to figure out how to fully utilize it.
