You cant. The only way to acquire players is from the transfer market or the draft.

THere is no trades. You can list your players for sale and if the price is fair any of the 50,000 players can buy him. Likewise there are thousands of players for sale all the time you are free to buy any of them that you can afford. This system is not like the NBA but more like the European system.

I couldnt imagine trades in buzzerbeater, would surely lead to a lot of cheating.

Indeed probably the major reason they don't have trades.
