Couple points as I see it:
First, it's not really a hidden aggression stat, as your new center has a career rate of somewhere around 1 PF per 10 minutes. That's high, and will definitely lead to foul outs. He'd already fouled out of 7 games this season before tonight's.
Secondly, when your 30,000 salary center has ~100K DMI, he has very poor gameshape. That means he's not really putting up sensational inside defense, but his max becomes something lower. Usually I'd think that playing causes the ability to decline even further, but 13 minutes isn't much. Unless he has 1 or 2 stamina.
Third, two of his fouls were against drives made by your opponent's outside players. As driving contributes relatively little against salary, perhaps your opponent's guys have very high driving. Also, playing a 3-2 might actually put more pressure on your inside guys, making them cover more ground/space, and end up reducing their effectiveness.
Perhaps bringing him off the bench, at least until you repair his gameshape up to strong or proficient, could help prevent further foul outs. I also scout the opponent to try and find whether they have a foul prone player, and try and use defensive assignments to keep my fouly guys away from that player.
