You won't get any money from away games, but you will get money from your home games. The amount you get depends on how much you will get attendance.

also, you do not get any income from scrimmages regardless of if they are played home or away..

in the new season, you will get money for winning cup matches, but no money for losing.

ok so I just played an away game on saturday and won does this mean I get some money?? and because i won does that change the amount i get. Also when do I get it lol. Sorry if these are very newbie questions but I want to get a good picture before I do anything else because I already made one mistake.

I bought a player with tremendous Jump shot and range, Profilic outside D, respectable driving and stamina, and wondrous experience for 300,000 bucks. My mistake was I didn't realize he's 33 and might get me through 1-2 more seasons before he retires. The good news about him is though he's older he's still a beast. In his first game with my team he got 17 points and 7 rebounds to secure a win. Although he could have gone the full 48 min my coach took him and all my starters out because we had a 30 point lead at the beginning of the 4rth.

You'll have one homegame a week, that's when you get paid. the income from the tickets is your weekly profit. You'll play the players' salaries on Monday, when you pay the salary of your coach etc. If you win an away game, that usually means that there will be more fans attending your homegames. You should read FAQ etc. They should help you a lot.

Most teams have access to five sources of income.

1) Cup - not until next season.
2) Selling players - don't do it yet as a new player.
3) TV income - happens every week. Fixed by your league.
4) Merchandising income. Determined by your stars. The more local and homegrown players you have the better. League leaders are also great.
5) Arena income from home games (not scrimmage or private league games). This is your number one source and why most people think spending on your arena is the most important thing to do.

Wait five minutes and I will have a look at your situatiuon.

Oops too late. You did the utter worst possible thing for a new player to do. Spent all your starting money on a really old guy in horrible GS and fired all of your young guys who you could have trained.

Lazo Dizdarevic (2324153)
Shooting Guard
Owner: Heros of war
Weekly salary: $ 32 400
Age: 33
Height: 5'11" / 180 cm
Potential: allstar *
Game Shape: inept

Transfer 1/14/2012 18 Purchased from Göd SE for $ 300 000

There is one week until the playoffs and you are locked into 3rd spot whatever you do. Your chances of promotion are slim but if you wanted to try and beat the top teams this isn't the way to go about it. Still looking at your league it is fairly weak and maybe you can come from nowhere and win if you are willing to work very hard over the next couple of weeks.

All those guys you have listed for $70,000 with a TPE of $1,000 are failry unlikely to sell and instead of buying one star, if you wanted to "go for it" you should have gotten five reasonable players in good game shape. Good news is you should get an extra $50,000 this week and players are so cheap you could still get some more good guys even if this is the second worst week of the season to buy.

If you want to try and win just ask for some tips I am happy to help but fire whoever is your current advisor.

lol yeah I realized I was making a mistake after I hit the bid button. I made a mistake alot of newbies make I'm assuming that is selling all of your plays to try and get 1 or 2 stars. I realize now after my last game that is not a good way to go. Yes I got a blowout win but I realized my team need to shoot better from behind the arc. I will add you to my friend list and lol probably ask you questions often. I feel though after my last win I had the D I need to win but probably not the O. Once I get some more cash I'll try and hold it till next season the get some decent players I can train. Thanks for the help man

Your player won't retire. He'll get steadily worse but should be good for at least two or three seasons or more. Keep an eye out for who is active in the league. Most teams are bots and will be easy wins. Find a couple of guys to train and don't buy anyone else until you get the hang of the game. I wouldn't worry too much about offense/defense yet.

I have sent you five bbmails with a detailed plan to try and win this season. Then next season you can start over with a much improved income and the promotion money.
