I think someone noticed that when there are some walkovers often the final position in the tournament is the Vth one. Probably this is because there is a big economic advantge or maybe not, who knows?

5th place teams don't get any money from their attendance as they only play scrimmages so if you charged them player salaries they would lose quite a lot of money

And 4th place only get's 1/3rd of 1 game's income. Why should finishing lower (5th) be rewarded?

I'm sure this will change soon, paying 1 week sounds just right.
