Hi,

Look at my last game: (802343)

How come my players were so terrible on the first three quarters? is it possible that the injury of my starting PG on the game before had such a bad impact?
On the game before I've played 2-3 zone and I payed for it with many 3 ptrs by my opponent. I've decided to go for Man-On-Man, to become more balanced, and the op got free rides in the paint...
Furthermore, he took thousands of OR's where on the last game it was quite the opposite.
How could one team play so differently in two adjacent games? My players got better form today than on tuesday.

Any one have a clue?
any suggestions for the tie breaker?

thanks,

yaniv

For one, you are playing away this game which gives a big advantage to the home team. Your opponent also may have CTed this game or TIEd the game at your place to bring up his enthusiasm.

Or both...

The most amazing thing is that he played Man-on-Man on both games, but his inside defense was amazing (according to the sector ratings) on the home game and pretty bad on the game at my place.

I actually have no clue how to play the tie-breaker tomorrow (strange it's not on Tuesday...)

any suggestions?

The tiebreaker is tomorrow because the draft is at the beginning of next week and the new season starts at the end of the week. I would at the very least CT the game since it is the last game of the season.

Of course, give me some credit man... ;)

I was looking for a tactical advice.

B.T.W, what does the coach rating mean? It seems that when it's high - I lose...

does anyone know why only the first three periods were so bad? Is garbage time gets considered by the game engine?

Yes garbage time is considered by the GE. If the team is up by a lot, than the coach will sub in the backups. I wouldn't worry about the coaching ratings, they are messed up right now and will be reworked.

I would just counter whatever offense your opponent is playing(if he uses the same one each game) and play the offense you play. CT along with playing at home will hopefully put you over the top.

thanks for your reply.

Are there any best known counter strategies to every offensive/defensive strategy?

e.g. 2-3 zone suits best for low-post, or 3-2 for run and gun, etc. ?
