With a win tonight, the Seattle Legends have secured promotion to D.IV. This means we have likely seen the last of V.65, and in some ways I'm sorry to see it go. I joined this league as the worst team with an 0-18 record. The rebuilding project started behind Lester Summers, who was later sold. In the draft, I picked up future team stars Russell Means and Marcos Tate, who have been consistently improving and were instrumental in my advancement. More than anything, though, in this league I learned more about the game from more experienced managers like WFUnDina and his Pwnstars, and Mix and his IXLOS Sabers, both relatively knowledgeable players whose teams are now in D.IV. More than that, though, several of the managers in this league, including the two I mentioned, have been extremely helpful and supportive as I learned this game, and without them I probably would not have stuck with this game, let alone built a team capable of beating Hammersaurus Rex and NBA Swagger Allstars and promoting into D.IV. The experience I've gained from playing in this competitive league and competing with these managers has been invaluable.
I guess what I want to say is, thank you everyone, and I'm going to miss good luck next season. I'm going to miss V.65!
