I have the following trainee

Weekly salary: $ 6 316
Role: regular starter
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 32700
Age: 19
Height: 6'3" / 190 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: respectable

Jump Shot: average ↑ Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: proficient Handling: respectable ↑
Driving: respectable Passing: proficient
Inside Shot: atrocious Inside Def.: awful
Rebounding: mediocre Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: inept Free Throw: pitiful

Experience: atrocious

I trained him last season, and am very happy with his progress (don't tell me if you would have trained him differently, this works best for me). Last season he had 4.2k salary, as you can see now he has 6.3k, 150% of last season so normally a pretty big increase in salary. But I used the salary calculator given out by this forum as given at http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr.... This calculator gave me 9.1k on the last calculation I did after my pops from last Friday. Is this calculator not working or what? I got all my other players wrong as well, since I calculated an increase of ~25k in salary, but I only got 4k increase.

I'm not saying I shouldn't be happy with the extra money I get now, I just wonder why this program is being promoted if it so clearly isn't accurate at all.

I have the same question. According to several salary calculators my total salary should have been several thousand more than it turned out to be. Again, no complaints.

since the last seasons the salarys of the player are optimized to the club income(if the player see the club earn big time money with them, they ask for more salary). i am not sure, how much the salary calculator does correct there value to the current change ... But they will be off at least one season.

Also low sub could lead to a lower salary.

the player consider worldwide economic, so if most team decide to cut all player with salary above 100k8and they don#t get bought through fa) next season weaker player try to get there paychecks and ask for a higher salary.

if the overall quality increase, and the total of salary would rise ... The player will ask for less for the same quality, since they know the team couldn't pay more then last season.

And the player get grouped for it, so a 100k player probadly have a different increase or decrease then a 5k player - but i have no clue how this exactly works.

Your salaries are not calculated from your own income. Your first post make it look so.
Players will get the same pay regardless of what the club is doing.

What happens exactly under the hood is of little importance for us, peones :P

Sluuge, I don't know which calculator you are using but it is outdated.
moutlinho's new version gives 7 820$ and is outdated already, I think.
Buzzer Manager gives 7 340$ and is using last Josef Ka's numbers.

Low sublevels in Passing and/or OD can make a large difference.

It might be outdated, I got it like 1,5 months ago. But I guess it's the sublevels that make the real difference.

Usually, the previous seasons, I noticed that untrained players got a small reduction on their salary, around 5%.
Does this rule still applies?
Yet this year I don't had any reduction, do you thing it's because of promotion and increased income?

as stated i mean the overall economy not only your teams, i believe we are closer to equilibrium now and won't foresee trends :) Maybe it go a bit up or down(and i believe both things get reported this offseason).
