my suggestion would be to spend the 10 points on the scouting combine, and that lets you put all the 18 year olds at the top. Next, count the 18 year olds who have 1 or 2 grey skill estimates. IF there are more than 10, you can do the group demonstration, and you'll learn their orange skill balls, position, and box score (if there are 10 or less such 18 yos, I usually skipt the demo). Then, depending on if you are going to train guards or big men, you can scout the 18 year olds who have the appropriate heights. Once you have some guys who have 4-5 skill balls, you can choose to interview a few, to make sure they have acceptable potential.
