Hey,BB fans
There must be something called 'secret factor' in BB's players ,I think.
1)Some players have a high level of perimeter defense, inside defense and experience, but he always get 4to6 personal fouls per game. What do you guys think about this?
2)Some players have atrocious rebounding, but he can get 4to6 TR per game.Or someone have awful passing, but he can get 4to7 assists per game. What's your explanation of these series of strange stats?
3)Some players are frequently injured, does he has a low level of the factor called 'physical quality'?
Maybe you will say, different tactic make different personal perfomance, the 'secret factor',but in truth they do exist.

I think that's what makes the game fun- randomness. But it's the same in real life basketball, really, there're just too many factors affecting a player's performance.

I think most people would likely agree with you that the players have hidden attributes that don't show up in their attributes.

Foul frequency and drawing fools are 2 of the bigger ones I always notice but I'd stop short of calling it a 'physical quality' because the same player never seems to be high on both ends of of this.

I also had a guy get injured 3 times over one full season and then I checked in on him the next year after I sold him and he was injured once again. It could have been a fluke but I have my doubts.

There is a hidden "aggressiveness" factor that has been discussed previously on the forums. More aggressive players both foul more and draw more fouls when compared to less aggressive players.

Thx for your reply.
Take a player for example. My friend have a trainee, the attributes of him are as follows:
Age:19 Potential:11+ Height:203cm
JS:8 JR:6
OD:8 HD:5
DR:8 PA:3
IS:7 ID:6
RB:6 SB:1
ST:5 FT:6
I think he is an excellent young player, but the problem is that he was always sent off the field because of lots of p-fouls.So this player can't get enough training time.
We found this problem is difficult to solve if he have a hidden attribute called ‘aggressiveness’ factor.

How to train the one 'more aggressive' as a trainee? He cant keep enough time(always only 30-40min/week) in training position. It breaks team's training plan.

it get easier to train those player without a let them play 48 minute concept and work for example with a 5 guy, two training position rotation.

But when a team have only 3 trainees and put them in single training position(Ball handling,Pressure,Inside scoring...),the training speed will be faster except some training program only have double positions such as Rebounding,Outside shooting...

In that case you need to sacrifice your 3rd trainee minutes. I use to have 2 good players and 1 not so good when training 1 pozition, so my heart doesnt broke when not so good one doesnt get full minutes:D
