What are the benefits for lower division team to play on the cup game?
Is there anything winning prize in each round??
If my team went further in the cup, would it affect the attendance in my normal league game?
If not, then is it worthy to participate in the cup (as in risk of injury or difficulty in game shape managing)?

*P.S another question, can players get injured in scrimmages?

So would a cup win boost my attendance in my normal league game?

It would in a way because there is a section in the fan survey telling you how impressed your fans are about your teams run in the cup this year. So if you went well, you would likely have a higher rating for that section and thus should increase attendance :)

I've been told no.......... according to what I've read and been told, scrimmages mean nothing except to game shape and training minutes.

I'm going to toss a question in here, too........

How are cup matchups decided? Do top teams get placed against top teams, and lower teams pitted against lower teams? I ask because I notice some top teams already out of cup after facing other top teams, but my lower team is still playing lowe teams in the cup.

I take it that it's not like a normal tournament where first place plays last place, and second place plays second to last team and so on?
