Are starting to become BS. I have been trying to get my lineup set since 4pm EST, to no avail. Now my game starts with a "scrub" lineup and default tactic. I am pissed. Thanks.

Unfortunately, occasional outages are to be expected with a web-based game.

I think a lot of people's expectations (including mine) are higher than yours. A game with paying customers shouldn't be almost completely unusable for a few days. It's very disappointing to see that the massive influx of users are again having such a bad experience.

Anyway, I see another web server has been ordered, so maybe things will be better soon. (Hopefully the load balancing will be a little more sophisticated than HT's "recommended server" model...)

It's not a good situation, I agree. I wouldn't try to intimate otherwise.

But outages DO happen. To expect that they will never happen for any reason is folly.

Contrary to popular belief, I'm not a dullard. I understand people are going to be upset. I just try to lower their thought process from KILL to merely pissed off.

we seem to have rigged up a temporary fix... we don't fully understand why the increased load caused crashing of IIS (microsoft's web server).... we seem to have a workaround.. we are discussing what our best theories for what happened is.

During yesterdays matches 3397 were online (19:26 Norwegian time). Did that cause the problems?

Older than the rest ...
