Due to trying to rest some of my starters during a cup game, I have 1 players who's probably by far my greatest scoring threat. He's an SG so I'd like to use outside iso with him, but I've never used the tactic before. Does anyone with experience with it know if it's better than using motion?

If youre sertain that you're going to face 3-2 zone than its better than motion .If youre going against M2M than youre better of with motion. But if youre only have 1 strong Outside player surounded by role players than probbably youre best move is to go with patient.

Don't know about ISO but Patient will have him shooting all night long.

I think he'll go with either M2M or 2-3 zone since usually my team always plays look inside, which is why I only have one player able to score today.

This is true in real life. When you play isolation for your scorer, it's more likely to be effective against a zone defense because it would create more mismatches. I'm not sure if his applies to BB.

I would imagine that an isolation offense should work similar to a base offense in terms of focus and pace, but giving more shots to the best player you have offensively (inside or outside). Of course, this should be tested.

I tried some times and it seem more efective against zones,Difference between Motion is in motion the majority of the shots is distributed between SG/SF some of them tought shots against set deffencive zone.Meanwhile the ISO if there is oppening the perimeter players will do the extra pass and feed the inside/outside for the open shot/layup

Yep, overtime losses are always the worst because not only are they close games but they also mess up your GS.
