How many drops should I expect out of a 33 yo and how much does that increase when they turn 34?

I had a 34 YO last season and got 2 or 3 drops, it really depends on sublevels but I wouldn't say more than 4.

it really depends. I always hear people with 33-34yo players saying they never had a drop in skill. i think it might also depend on how high the skill levels are to begin with. I wouldn't expect 4. maybe 2, or 3 if u are unlucky

Ok well that's not nearly as bad as I thought it was. I'm about one player away from being a championship contender but i don't want to break the bank to get a decent player. Would it be worth it for me to pick up a 33 or 34 yo for a season or two?

The overall price for players have dropped dramatically so while it is worth it to pick up a veteran, You can get a player thats the same skills but a few years younger for not much more(perhaps the same price).
Yes, always take the opportunity to promote if you think you can.

I have a 35 year old on my team (I had him as a 34 year old) and have never had a drop except once in stamina. I dont really worry to much about it, if i can get the older players for cheap money.

+1 exactly. Older players can be bought real cheap, and money isn't much of a problem for me usually because I'm in Div I. I say usually because currently I am in need of some cash
