I'm at a loss for how these things are determined. I have a guard with "respectable" stats (despite a low salary) who really helps eat up minutes to preserve my better players' game shape. In my last game, I played him at small forward in an easy NT game and he put up a triple-double (pts, assists, rebounds), yet he received a 5.5 rating in the box score.

This question has been answered about 3 times in the past week one of the times it was asked by me, and here are the answers I got.
GM-Perpete:
It's mainly based on the skills of your player and their importance for the position where you play him. And not about the real performance he made during the games. The performance is probably worth between 0.5 and 1.5 in the rating.

Manon:
It is in a way a rating given upon how his skills "fit" the played at position. But with a small bonus from how well he played.

You could think that a 55p game would give a lot higher rating if it were upon performance.

Same goes here, even though 12 is not that bad. but such a night surely would be giving higher if it was upon attendance.

*EDIT* All credit goes to Manon and GM-Perpete.
