Can someone explain to me things about cap numbers and age, for example, of Player A has a cap of 23.54, what age/skills would he cap at? I don't understand this at all.

The age doesn't really matter in defining the player's maximum cap. Only their potential rating does.

So if a player had a cap value (calculated from Josef Ka's coefficients) or 23.54, then he is possibly capped if he is a perennial allstar potential, and close to the lower end of the superstar cap.

Now, if players are old, then their training will slow due to age, but not the cap per se.

Well, cap number is a skills coefficients summ of impaction on capping or so. i think 22-24 is perenial all star potencial cap.

Eazier way is to register at buzzer-manager.com an there is potencial and salary calculator.
