First, sorry for making the new thread, but I didn't find Patient topic.

Why we need this Patient tactic?
When we look at the game manual, it says.. "Patient: normal focus, somewhat decreased pace." also "A slower pace will often result in higher-quality shots."
I put my PG/SG in C position, Big man guards him and he takes 90% field goals and shoots almost all points. I play my league game right now and my opponent plays just like that. He scored 30 already (team have 35!!) wtf??? This tactic is unreal and we all know it, but nohting has changed when this problem was discovered. If Chicago put Rose in C and Lakers Bynum must guard him all the game. Rose throws 70, 80 or 100 points, or Bryant and Noah, is this real??? Mike Brown is like a fool and says after game in an interview that had nothing to do??
I played this Patient tactic in last year July (36140819) and my SG shoots 75 points in OT game.
France use this tactic in NT Finals last season and their SG scores in C postition 44 points and almost win (18254). This is more than ridiculous!
We have inside and outside isolation, where players can play 1on1. We have Base Offence, why we need unrealistic Patient?
I've been a supporter two and a half years, but I don't currently extend it.. maybe i will, but i want to play a realistic game.

So just because you don't find Patient realistic, the first thing you say is "remove this shitty tactic".....wow what an amazing diplomatic skill...If you don't think it's realistic, just don't use it.

:D. I see you don't read my message, only the title and reply. It's very diplomatic. I'm not talking about the use of this tactic, but the play against this.

if you want to play against patient, and the opponent has a huge missmach you whink will be used, play zone... And I love this tactic. it really helps.

So where is the "play against this" part? All I see is just sentences expressing your views on why the heck we need this tactic.

I agree, it's not the most realistic tactic ever, but I'll also say that when players put up those unrealistic stats, teams are far less likely to win. A few seasons ago we had a team that ran patient all year with their SF averaging close to 50 PPG http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/1805/overview.aspx?season=15 they won 7 games. It's unrealistic, but not to the point of being unfair. I think by and large its most effective at keeping a bad team closer to a good team rather than getting blown out of the stadium.

nobody will be able to make his big man take 30-40 shots with Patient even if he matches legendary IS against atrocious ID..
Here is at least one exception - Wisniewski and IV league (44242338) :) however, this is an extreme situation. But what is the solution. Just can't play zone to prevent patient efficacy, because 2-3 dosn't work and I can't use 3-2 if look inside is so powerful. Still there can't be Iverson - O'Neal missmach entire game.
C and PF position players can't play deffense as SF, SG, PG. Of course in this case training should be changed to train guards inside skills etc.

It makes no sense that you can win any game with your SF against other potent 2 big man offenses while having Respectable (7) ID...
