but maybe with other tool then this organsisation, who spend you money mostly on there own salary or in militars who are accusated to massively rape etc. in country where he wasn't anymore since 6 years. So decide if you like to support rape and robbery before clicking on those link, or use Google instead of getting other sources about his crimes. I am not a big fan of fighting an evil with an lesser evil.

It's not like the majority of people are going to be donating a lot of money to this organization. I understand that their video is made in the way so it attracts a lot of peoples attention, and even if a large percentage of their money goes to film making and staff salaries, without that money nothing would be going on to stop that guy. I don't care if they exaggerate his crimes, what differnece does it make? He still did awful things, and if he's on the International Most Wanted List, why not try and stop him?

there is something going on to stop this guy already, also with a much bigger budget this organisation could be organisate i am sure. You can say also with succes since cKony army is now just 150-250 men/children big, which was pretty different in the past days.

Looking the video gives the organisation already money since they particiate on the ads, with this money the ugandian army get new weapon. Even when they catch Kony they will keep it, and they also rape women in the village and most likely a lot longer time. And that this extra money is succesful is doubtful, since Kony isn't active in Uganda anymore so unleast they make an war to their neighbours with their money to come into his territory(pretty sure this would be bad too) it is unlickely that KONY 2012 weapon will get him instead of farmers fred wife and money.

Also i think there are many other things going on, who deserves help without needing such questionable methods.

BBallin, as you know I'm in a land of little internet. Well, the reason is because I work in peace, security, and governance issues in East Africa and I was just sent to the region.

There are a couple of reasons why this Kony 2012 is VERY misleading.

1. The videos 90% comprised of events that happened over 5 years ago. As This link https://davidsangokoya.wordpress.com/2012/03/07/selling-ol... beautifully states, showing this video is a lot like showing footage of the September 11 attacks to people who lived in a cave for the last decade. Those people would want to help. To do anything to stop al-Qaeda. The problem is, it's over. Yes Kony is still alive, but he's not in Uganda and Uganda even kicked out US troops just like the ones invisible children are advocating for.

2. This video isn't about Ugandans, it's about a white guy and his family. Think about it, are any Ugandans, besides his friend/ muse, interviewed? Are any Ugandans or Ugandan organizations put forward as part of the solution? No, not unless you count the Ugandan military -- which is problematic in its own ways. Instead, the video HAMMERS in the point that THIS GUY is going to SAVE THE AFRICANS. This is most problematic because, like the White Man's Burden https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_White_Man%27s_Burden it is part of a slippery slope suggesting that white people have an obligation to rule over "less developed" and darker-skinned peoples until they can place in the world.

That said, I understand that people want to help. Kony is a monster and justice needs to occur. If you want to help, I suggest two places to give money (neither are my organization).

http://www.kiva.org/ -- a microfinance institution where you can fund projects that communities identify and create (rather than international organizations dictating what projects = development)

where you at? I spent time volunteering in Tanzania a couple years ago. I'm dying to go back.

Pure propaganda whole KONY... Like US would save people there too.. lol.
