Hey guys i just got a training update on my players and it interested me. I trained pressure for PG, to try to get my trainee to pop in outside defense but that didn't happen. This is what happened :O

Weekly salary: $ 2 761
Role: rotation player
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 28400
Age: 18
Height: 6'5" / 196 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: proficient
Jump Shot: inept Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: inept
Driving: average Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: respectable ↑
Rebounding: pitiful Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: average Free Throw: average

Experience: atrocious

Then my PF that i also trained as a PG for my scrimmage popped in outside D:

Weekly salary: $ 14 481
Role: rotation player
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 77600
Age: 22
Height: 6'6" / 198 cm
Potential: superstar
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: strong Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: mediocre ↑ Handling: strong
Driving: mediocre Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: prolific Inside Def.: prolific
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: inept Free Throw: respectable

Experience: pitiful

This doesn't make sense to me...

1. Why did my PG pop on inside D when i trained him for pressure as a guard?
2. Why didn't my PF pop on inside D considering my PG did and popped on outside D instead?

Thanks in advance

There is secondary training. Pressure trains OD as the main skills but also gives some training to ID As for the pops you received your PG would have had a high ID sublevel and your PF would have had a high OD sublevel.

You can get an idea of secondary training here http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...

Correct answer seconded here.

In addition now 10% of your training effort goes to a random skill which can build sublevels up and multiple unexpected pops are now possible.
