So, after building most of my GS to Proficient by playing all my players in the 48-72 minute range, this week all but one fell to Strong even though they all played in the 48-72 minute range (mostly 56-64 minutes).
The exceptions: I had one guy who was Proficient who only played 48 minutes and stayed at Proficient.
I had another guy who was Respectable, but played 75 minutes and increased to Strong.

There must be quite a bit of randomness with Game Shape management.
It appears that the best you can do is hit your minutes goal of 60 and see what happens.
Not the hugest issue in the world, but definitely something to be aware of.

Yeah its very random. IMO the only think 48-75 mins does is guarantee that you wont go below Respectable GS, I think the rest is 85% random.

Buy a doctor with massage speciality. It really helps to keep players in good shape even if they play over 90mins in game it nearly never drops for me:D My trainees tends to play 83-89 mins per week (They both are starters pg/sg and i train them 1 pozition) and their game shape stays between high respectable and high strong.

Both correct but even hitting the targets you can stay on respectable at the start of the season for quite some time and with even one bad week which we all get from time to time with injuries or foul outs it is easy to drop back there with a bad GS roll. On the other hand you can get lucky. I played my backup PG as reserve in two games and then in starter for the third and with an injury early he ended up doing nearly 100 minutes and only dropped from proficient to strong.
